OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's tennis team secured two doubles titles and one singles title at the Drake Invitational as played concluded in Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday.
Kate Krueger and Malvika Shukla earned the Flight 1 Doubles championship with an 8-4 win over Ines Absisan and Madison Gallegos (Omaha), while Siri Kongara and Emma Gener captured the Flight 3 Doubles crown with a close 8-6 victory against Drake's Mille Haagensen and Darinka Stepan.
Freshmen Siri Kongara and Valerie Negin each went 3-0 during the first three rounds of Flight 3 singles action heading into Sunday.
