Lawrence, Kan. – Sophomore Ana Paula Martinez qualified for the main singles draw while qualifying for the main doubles draw with classmate Annika Elvestrom on the first day of the ITA Regional at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kan.
"It was a very windy day playing in the elements today," said head coach Tom Lilly. "It was successful start with a singles and doubles qualifying. Ana played some great tennis and Annika responded well to get a close win in a tough match, before working together in doubles.
