CAYCE, S.C. -- The Creighton women's tennis team fell 4-1 to top-seeded St. John's in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Championships on Friday in Cayce, S.C.
The Bluejays are now 13-10 and will wrap up the 2017 season with a back draw match on Saturday afternoon.
Creighton opened Friday's quarterfinal match against the Red Storm by earning the doubles point.
St. John's won 6-1 at the top doubles position before the Bluejays claimed victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots. Hylan Miller and paired up for their team-leading 13th doubles victory with a 6-3 decision at No.
