ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Creighton women's tennis team fell 4-3 against Evansville at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando, Fla. on Tuesday.
The Bluejays are now 5-6, while the Purple Aces improved to 6-7.
Creighton took the doubles point by finishing off a tiebreaker. The Bluejays fell 6-2 at No. 3 doubles, before and evened the action with a 6-4 win at No. 1. and clinched the first point of the day with a 7-6 (7-4) victory in a tiebreaker at the No. 2 doubles position.
Half of Tuesday's six singles matches went a full three sets.
