ORLANDO, Fla. – The Creighton women's tennis team continued to find success in Orlando as the Bluejays defeated Villanova, 4-3, in a BIG EAST battle on Tuesday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
With the victory, the Bluejays moved to 11-2 on the year and 2-1 in BIG EAST play, while Villanova fell to 2-8 overall and 0-1 in league action.
The doubles team of junior Malvika Shukla and graduate Leanne Kendall started the afternoon off for the Jays in winning fashion, as they recorded a 6-0 win at the top doubles position.
