DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Creighton women's tennis team continued play at the Drake Invitational on Saturday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
Laura Higueras earned two victories to advance to the Flight D Singles Championship, Meredith Benson advanced to the Flight C Single Consolation Draw final, and Higueras teamed with Julia Aguirre for a Flight B Doubles semifinal match victory.
Higueras outlasted her South Dakota opponent in straight sets, including a tiebreaker in the second frame before dropping only three games in a straight-sets win during the semifinals.
