OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton women's tennis team fell to Kansas City, 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at the Hanscom Tennis Center.
The loss drops the Bluejays to 10-7 on the year, while Kansas City improves to 4-13 with the win.
Malvika Shukla and Sarah Wilcox combined for a 6-3 win at the No. 2 doubles position, while Kansas City claimed wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 slots to earn the doubles point.
Wilcox opened singles play with a 6-0, 6-3 straight-sets win at the No. 3 singles position to even the match up at 1-1.
