Creighton women’s soccer beat the Oklahoma Sooners this past Sunday 3-1.
Besting Oklahoma 3-0, the Bluejays improved their record to 5-1-1 on the season.
The last time the Creighton women’s soccer team has gone 5-1 was 2009.
After a 5-2 win against Eastern Michigan, in which she scored four goals, freshman forward and Big East Player of the Week Skylar Heinrich scored for her seventh time early in the 16th minute, with an assist up the middle by sophomore midfielder Ansley Atkinson.
Heinrich later assisted senior midfielder Taryn Jakubowski with her second goal on the season, putting the Bluejays up 2 to 0.
