OMAHA, Neb. – A goal during the 72nd minute from sophomore Alyssa Judkins lifted the Creighton Women's Soccer team to a 2-1 win over Kansas City on Thursday afternoon in the Bluejays home-opener.
The Bluejays improved to 1-0-2 on the year, while the Roos fell to 0-2-1 overall.
Judkins struck the back of the net during the 72nd minute after rebounding her own header from a free kick from junior Maddie Radke. Following a Kansas City foul, Radke delivered a perfectly placed cross into the box where Judkins headed the pass off the far post.
