OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's soccer team opened its exhibition schedule with a 1-0 loss to Minnesota on Sunday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.
Minnesota's April Bockin scored the game-winning goal during the 65th minute. Bockin dribbled the ball from the left side of the pitch towards the top of the 18-yard box where she fired a shot into the back of the net.
McKenzie Meola, Elizabeth Bolland and Katie Sullivan each saw action in goal for the Bluejays. The trio combined to make five saves.
Minnesota ended the match with a 23-2 advantage in shots and 9-0 in corner kicks.
