Women’s Soccer Inks Arakawa for 2022

OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton women's soccer 2022 signing class grew to nine newcomers on Wednesday, March 23 as head coach Ross Paule announced the signing of NJCAA National Champion transfer Kurumi Arakawa from Eastern Florida State College.

Originally from Oyama, Tochigi, Japan, Arakawa will be a junior at Creighton, following two seasons with Eastern Florida State. Arakawa helped the Titans to their first NJCAA National Title in program history at midfield last season, while earning NJCAA First Team All-American and NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Year honors. During her two seasons with the Titans she started 23 matches and combined for two goals on 25 shots while leading the Titans backline that allowed 0.
