OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton Women's Soccer team fell to #23 Georgetown, 4-0, in its BIG EAST road opener on Sunday, Sept. 25.
The loss moved the Bluejays to 4-2-4 on the season and 0-2-0 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown improved to 6-1-3 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play.
The Hoyas pulled ahead in the 32nd minute as Gia Vicari blasted a shot from just outside the top of the 18-yard box into the top left corner of the goal, giving Georgetown a 1-0 lead.
Georgetown extended their advantage out to 2-0 three minutes later on a set piece as the Hoyas earned a corner kick.
