OMAHA, Neb. – Playing the final 64 minutes down a woman, the Creighton women's soccer team walked away with a 0-0 draw against Iowa State on Sunday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.
The tie moves the Bluejays to 1-0-3 on the season, while the Cyclones move to 0-2-1 overall.
Creighton was able to control the pace of play and possession through the early minutes of the first half, firing off four shots in the first 30 minutes of play. The Bluejays first scoring opportunity came during the sixth minute as drew a foul just outside of the 18-yard box.
