Omaha, Neb. -- Battling winds of close to 30 miles per hour, the Creighton women's soccer team closed out its 2017 on a high note as the Bluejay defeated Providence 2-1 on Thursday, Oct. 26th.
Sophomore provided the offensive punch with both Bluejays' goals, scoring in the 28th and 79th minutes to lift Creighton to 4-11-3 overall and 2-5-2 in BIG EAST play. Providence, meanwhile, fell to 10-7-1 on the season and 5-3-1 in conference action. The Friars will begin play in the BIG EAST Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 2, hosting the No. 6 seed DePaul.
