ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Playing their first road match of the season, the Creighton women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to Saint Louis on Thursday night at Hermann Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Bluejays moved their season record to 0-2-1, while the Billikens improved to 2-1-0.
Saint Louis struck first in the 14th minute of play off a set piece as Lyndsey Heckel headed in a goal off a corner kick from Hannah Larsen.
Creighton pulled even at 1-1 in the 32nd minute as senior Abigail Santana intercepted a back pass from the Billikens back line and firing a shot into the back of the net for her first goal of the season.
