Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's soccer head coach Ross Paule continues to add to his 2019 class as the Bluejay leader garnered a commitment from Lauren Harkes (Fairfax, Va.) as a graduate transfer from Clemson and signed Daphne Nierop (Amersterdam, Netherlands) to begin her Creighton career.

A redshirt during the 2016 season, Harkes is a 5-8 midfielder that served as the Tigers' team captain in 2017 and 2018. She appeared in 43 matches, including eight starts, over three seasons with Clemson. Harkes played a combined 1,341 minutes for the Tigers (727 minutes during the 2018 season), scoring one goal as a freshman in 2015 and notching an assist in 2018.
