KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sarah Eversman tied for 25th place to lead the Creighton Women's Golf team to a ninth-place finish at the Kansas City Shootout, which concluded on Monday at Shoal Creek Golf Club.
Eversman put together rounds of 77, 82 and 81 to tally a 240 total, the fourth straight spring meet she's been Creighton's top performer. It's also a five-shot improvement over her score in the same meet from a year ago, when she tied for 66th.
Sophomore Caroline Lake was the team's second-best finisher, as her 248 total (87-80-81) was good for a tie for 41st place.
