FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Gabby Tremblay tied for second place as the Creighton women's golf team took third on Sunday in Fort Myers, Fla. The performance ranks as Creighton's best team finish at a conference tournament in 29 seasons under Debbie Conry.
A second-year freshman from Hayward, Wis., Tremblay closed the tournament on Sunday with a 73 to match her season-low that she also shot in Friday's first round. She had four birdies in her final round and nine overall in the tournament en route to matching CU's best performance in a league tournament since Elizabeth Morell was a runner-up in the 2003 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
