OMAHA, Neb. -- Eleanor Hudepohl tied for third place to lead the Creighton women's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the rain-shortened Big O Classic on Tuesday.
The teams played 36 holes on Monday and most golfers had just started the back nine on Tuesday before rain and lightning suspended play just after 12:15 p.m. After waiting through the rain and meeting as a group, the decision was then made to discontinue play for the day and end the event, with all scores reverting to Monday's results.
Hudepohl, who won the event last year, continued her dominance in the event with a tie for third place following loops of 73 and 77.
