LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Playing its first tournament in nearly a year, Creighton women's golf team finished eighth at The Jackrabbit Invitational on Tuesday in Las Vegas.
CU's top performers in scoring average a year ago, freshman Gabby Tremblay and sophomore Katie Allen shared the team lead in the 2020-21 season-opener as both women tied for 29th place after a 241 total. Tremblay started with consecutive 79's before an 83 in the final round. Allen had an 81 and 82 on Monday before authoring the program's lowest round of the week with a 78 on Tuesday.
