ELKHORN, Neb. -- The Creighton women's golf team placed sixth at the Stampede at the Creek in the squad's final tune-up for the upcoming BIG EAST Championships. Junior Eleanor Hudepohl led Creighton with a tie for 10th place, her fifth top-10 finish of the season.
Hudepohl was CU's top finisher for the seventh time in 10 tournaments, shooting rounds of 77, 72 and 79 for a 228 total. Her second round performance was her 12th career round of par or better, extending her program record. The Cincinnati, Ohio, product will seek back-to-back First Team All-BIG EAST accolades at the league championship.
