Indianapolis, Ind. -- Trailing by as much as 21 points midway through the second quarter, the Creighton women's basketball team fought back within four before falling to Butler, 59-53, on Friday, Jan. 19.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 10-8 on the season and 4-4 in BIG EAST play, while Butler moved to 12-8 overall and 4-4 in conference action.
The Bluejays return to the court on Monday, Jan. 22 as Creighton faces Xavier at 10:00 am (CT) in the Cintas Center (Cincinnati, Ohio).
