Omaha, Neb. -- Despite a sluggish start from the field, the Creighton women's basketball team delivered a 24-point fourth quarter to defeat Wichita State 56-46 on Saturday, Dec. 14th.
The win moved the Bluejays to 8-2 on the season, equaling the best start in school history, while Wichita State fell to 5-4 on the season.
Creighton closes out the non-conference schedule on Friday, Dec. 20th in a road contest at Arizona State at 3:00 pm (CT).
