Tallahassee, Fla. -- Tied at 44-44 late in the third quarter, the Creighton women's basketball team suffered a late scoring drought as the Bluejays fell to Florida State 71-52 on Sunday, Dec. 16.The loss moved Creighton to 4-5 on the season, while Florida State moved to 10-1 overall.
Creighton jumped out to an early 11-4 lead in the opening four minutes, getting nine points from junior during the run. Florida State, however, closed within a point by the end of the period, getting a mid-range bucket from Nicki Ekhomu with one second left to make it 19-18.
