OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's basketball team never trailed in a lopsided 83-60 win over Seton Hall on Friday, Jan. 14, at D.J. Sokol Arena.
The win improved the Bluejays to 11-4 (6-1 BIG EAST) while dropping the visiting Pirates to 6-7 (1-4 BIG EAST).
Creighton scored the final two points of the first quarter and led 12-10 after 10 minutes, then opened the second quarter with 12 straight points to quickly create a comfortable cushion.
Emma Ronsiek made 8-of-11 shots in the first half and had 19 points in 14 minutes at the break as the Bluejays bolted to a 49-34 advantage.
