- Creighton and Seton Hall are two teams heading in opposite directions lately. The Bluejays have won four straight and looking for their third five-game win streak of the season. The Pirates have dropped four straight.
- Seton Hall, however, pushed the Bluejays to the brink in the first meeting as Creighton needed a three-pointer from Works on their final possession in regulation to force overtime.
