Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Women's Basketball (13-3, 4-2 BIG EAST) closed a 2-0 week by climbing to No. 21 in the Associated Press poll, released on Monday, January 15. In the weekly NET rankings released by the NCAA, Creighton climbed to No. 24. The USA Today/Coaches poll will be released on Tuesday, January 16.
Three BIG EAST teams remain in the AP Poll as Connecticut (14-3) leads the conference at No. 9, the Bluejays are at No. 21 (13-3) and Marquette (15-2) sits at No. 22.
The Bluejays have been in nine of the 11 AP polls this season and 10 of the 11 USA Today/Coaches polls.
