OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Volleyball senior Jaali Winters has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after she averaged 4.50 kills and 2.33 digs per set on .353 hitting to help the Bluejays to a pair of sweeps over the weekend. She also became Creighton's all-time kills leader in the process.
Winters opened with 11 kills, nine digs and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Seton Hall. Six of her kills and four of her digs came in the first set to help set the tone against a Pirates team that would not lead in the final two frames.
