Win Streak Snapped as #18 Men's Basketball Falls in Double-OT at #24 Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- No. 18 Creighton saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday night as the Bluejays fell 94-86 in double-overtime to No. 24 Providence at a sold out Amica Mutual Pavilion.

Creighton (18-8, 11-4 BIG EAST) had the ball at the end of regulation and the first overtime, but did Providence (19-7, 11-4 BIG EAST) got defensive stops both times

Creighton started quickly, making 6-of-9 shots to bolt to a 13-7 lead at the first media timeout. Arthur Kaluma had three baskets and Baylor Scheierman two others to propel CU to its early advantage.
