MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The No. 22 Creighton Volleyball team won its seventh BIG EAST Tournament in the last eight years with a 3-0 win at Marquette on Saturday, Nov. 27. Creighton's 13th straight win and school-record 30th of the season also clinches the program's 11th all-time NCAA Tournament bid.
Scores of the match were 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.
Creighton's defense set the tone early in the first set, combining for five blocks and 19 digs to limit Marquette to .061 hitting in a 25-20 victory. Annika Welty had four blocks and Kendra Wait three rejections while Norah Sis had four kills to pace the Bluejay offense.
