Omaha, Neb. -- Led by a combined 32 kills from seniors , and freshman , the Creighton women's volleyball team swept Xavier on Friday, November 5. Set scores for the match were 25-18, 25-22 and 25-22.
The win lifted the Bluejays to 23-3 on the season and 11-3 in BIG EAST play, while Xavier fell to 10-14 overall and 5-8 in conference action.
In the opening set Creighton set the tone early by soaring out to a 9-2 advantage. The Bluejays scored the first four points of the match on a pair of kills from Zimmerman and two Xavier errors.
