OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Volleyball's Sept. 6 match against defending national champion Nebraska will be televised statewide by NET Television. The contest will also have a free webcast available worldwide.
Creighton went 26-7 last season while winning a fourth straight BIG EAST regular-season and tournament title. Nebraska was 32-4 and won its second national title in the past three seasons. The programs have met 11 of the past 14 years, but did not meet last season.
The contest will mark the fourth between the two schools at CenturyLink Center Omaha, which will change its name to CHI Health Center Omaha on September 1st.
