MARIBOR, Slovenia -- Playing for the third straight day, the Creighton Volleyball team dropped a 4-1 match to the Slovenian National Team on Friday in its final day in Maribor, Slovenia. Scores of the match in favor of the hosts were 26-24, 25-21, 18-25, 28-26, 15-6.
The 4-1 score was identical to Thursday's result against the same team, though Friday's match was held at the Dvorana Tabor Maribor venue that was noticeably bigger.
Though it dropped to 0-3 on its trip through Europe, Friday's match was easily Creighton's best so far with its freshmen class playing a starring role.
