Volleyball Debuts 2017 Squad With Blue-White Scrimmage

OMAHA, Neb. -- The ninth-ranked Creighton Volleyball team hit the floor in a public setting for the first time on Friday night with the program's annual Blue-White Scrimmage. The teams played to four sets, with the "White" team beating the "Blue" team by scores of 25-21, 25-14, 22-25, 15-12.

All 13 current Bluejays, plus alum Amanda Foje and assistant coaches Ryan Meek and Drew Davis saw extensive action in the contest. Seven of the Bluejays participated on both the Blue and the White team in various sets.

Marysa Wilkinson led the White squad with 13 kills and three blocks to help secure the victory, with Preseason All-BIG EAST outside hitters Taryn Kloth and Jaali Winters both contributing double-doubles as well.
