OMAHA, Neb. -- Ten Creighton programs have been recognized by the NCAA for having perfect multi-year Academic Performance Rate (APR) scores in their respective sports. Creighton's men's cross country, men's golf, men's tennis, men's track, softball, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's tennis, women's track and volleyball teams each were honored.
Creighton's 10 perfect scores led the state's Division I Universities and trailed only Villanova (12) among its BIG EAST peers. No league school owned a higher percentage of teams with a perfect APR score than Creighton's 62.5 percent.
The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams and measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term, providing a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in every sport.
