OMAHA, Neb. -- For the second time this season, Creighton outside hitter Taryn Kloth has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week.
Kloth averaged 4.83 points, 4.50 kills per set, 1.17 digs and 0.33 aces per set on .458 hitting to help Creighton to a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Providence last week.
Kloth led all players in kills during both matches. The Sioux Falls, S.D., product had 14 kills on .500 hitting with five digs in Friday's victory, which clinched an unprecedented fifth straight outright BIG EAST regular-season title for the Bluejays.
