Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton sophomore Katie Sullivan and freshman Skylar Heinrich each collected weekly accolades from the BIG EAST Conference on Monday, Sept. 30. Sullivan was named the Goalkeeper of the Week, while Heinrich nabbed a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll.
The duo of Sullivan and Heinrich helped Creighton open BIG EAST play with a 2-0 win over DePaul on Saturday, Sept. 28 in the Bluejays' lone match of the week. Each BIG EAST team played one match last week as conference play began.
Returning to the net after being sidelined for two matches last week by a leg injury, Sullivan posted her third shutout of the season in Creighton's 2-0 win over DePaul.
