OMAHA, Neb. -- Junior recorded the first perfect game for the Bluejays since 2006, lifted Creighton to an 8-0 victory in five innings over Georgetown on Friday, March 29. The win was highlighted by back-to-back home runs for Creighton in the first inning as a three-run double in the fourth.
Friday's win secured the series victory for the Bluejays as Creighton also bested Georgetown 8-0 on Thursday. The win also pushed Creighton to 20-14 on the season and 5-3 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown fell to 10-21 overall and 1-10 in conference play.
