Wichita, Kan. -- The Creighton softball team fell to Wichita State, 4-0, during the series finale on Sunday at Wilkins Stadium.
The Bluejays moved their season record to 0-3, while the Shockers moved to 5-2.
Creighton managed four hits during the final game of the weekend, while Bluejay pitching forced Wichita State to leave nine runners on base.
The Shockers threatened in the bottom of the first and loaded the bases with only one out, but Creighton starting pitcher Parker Boyd recorded a strikeout and fly out to the warning track in left field to end the inning.
