OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team recognized its seniors on Saturday but dropped a 10-0 decision to Butler at the Creighton Sports Complex.
Creighton moved to 0-8 in BIG EAST play and 13-21 overall, while Butler improved to 8-0 in league play and 13-19 on the year.
The Bluejays honor and , as well as the Butler seniors after the game.
Butler jumped on the Bluejays from the start, scoring one run in the first, two in the third, one in the fourth and six in the fifth to secure a 10-0 run-rule victory.
