SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Creighton softball team scored five unanswered to complete a BIG EAST series sweep of Seton Hall with a 5-3 victory on Sunday afternoon at Mike Sheppard Sr. Field.
After allowing three runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Bluejays scored once in the second frame, three times during the fifth to take the lead, and added an insurance run in the seventh.
The Bluejays improved to 7-2 in league play (22-12 overall) and moved into first place in the conference standings with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
