AUBURN, Ala. -- The Creighton softball team did not record a hit but managed to score two runs during a 3-2 loss against Evansville on Sunday morning at the Plainsman Invitational in Auburn, Ala.
The Bluejays dropped to 2-8 on the season, and the Purple Aces improved to 1-4.
Evansville's Morgan Florey struck out 10, did not walk a batter and allowed two unearned runs as she picked up her first victory of the season with the no-hit performance.
After scoring only one run in eight innings against the Purple Aces on Saturday, Creighton scored a run in the bottom of the first to take an early lead.
