Box Score Stephenville, Texas – The Creighton softball team fell 5-4 in extra innings to Texas A&M-Commerce in the finale of the Texan Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
The Bluejays are now 3-6, while the Lions improved to 2-8.
Junior Cayla Nielsen went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead thee Bluejays offense, while classmate Emma Rosonke collected two hits, including a two-run home run. Junior Madeline Vejvoda also contributed a pair of hits as the Bluejays closed the game with 10 base knocks.
Texas A&M-Commerce jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second, scoring on a pair of Lion hits.
