Softball Falls In Extras at Kansas City, 3-2

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Elleana Navarro lined a single to right field to score Sydney Nichols with the winning run as Kansas City claimed a 3-2 walk-off win in eight innings over Creighton on Tuesday at Urban Youth Academy. Navarro's hit capped off a two-run eighth inning that erased the Bluejays' 2-1 lead after the top of the eighth.

With one out in the bottom of the eighth, Kansas City's Katie Noble was hit by a pitch from Jena Lawrence. Briona Woods then grounded to second as Noble was forced out, leaving Woods on first.
