CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Creighton softball team fell twice during a doubleheader against DePaul on Saturday afternoon at Cacciatore Stadium in Chicago, Ill.
The Blue Demons won the opening game 8-0, and claimed a 13-0 victory during the second contest.
Both games ended during the fifth inning because of the eight-run rule.
The Bluejays are now 8-12 in BIG EAST play and 18-31 overall, while DePaul is 11-7 in league action and 26-21 overall.
Starting pitching stole the show to open the day on Saturday as Creighton's Bryana Clark and DePaul's Kennedy Garcia each did not allow a hit during the first three innings.
