LONGWOOD, Fla. -- The Creighton softball team endured a 2-1 loss to Longwood on Sunday morning at Boombah Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood, Florida.
The Bluejays moved their season record to 11-10 and the Lancers improved to 8-10.
Longwood scored once in the first and twice in the second inning to put the Bluejays in an early hole.
Creighton only produced one base runner in the first three innings.
The Bluejays put pressure on the Lancers in the fourth. Mikaela Pechar walked before Sydney Jenkins and Sam Alm each singled to load the bases.
