Madeira Beach, Fla. – The Creighton softball team rallied for a 5-2 win over Holy Cross after falling to Coastal Carolina to earn a split during day two of THE Spring Games on Sunday at the R.O.C Complex in Madeira Beach, Fla.
The Bluejays move their season record to 9-9 with the split, while Coastal Carolina improved to 17-3 on the year and Holy Cross fell to 3-8.
Creighton dropped Sunday's opener to Coastal Carolina, 3-0.
The Chanticleers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning as Riley Zana blasted a solo home run over the left center field wall, placing the first dent on the scoreboard.
