QUEENS, N.Y. – The Creighton softball team fell 10-0 to St. John's during the series finale on Saturday afternoon at Red Storm Field in Queens, N.Y.
The loss drops the Bluejays to 13-8 on the season and 2-1 in BIG EAST play, while St. John's improved to 9-12 overall and 1-2 in league action with the victory.
The host Red Storm put the first dent on the scoreboard, plating two runs in the bottom of the second innings to take a 2-0 lead. Using a hit batter, a walk and a bunt single by Jess Bianco, before London Jarrard drew a walk to push in the first run of the game.
