Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. – Despite recording 10 hits, the Creighton softball team dropped the series finale at DePaul, 6-4, on Saturday afternoon at Cacciatore Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.
The loss drops the Bluejays to 16-22 on the year and 3-9 in BIG EAST play, while DePaul improved to 12-20 overall and 4-8 in league action.
DePaul opened the scoring with an RBI triple in the bottom of the first inning. Addison Talbot drew a four-pitch walk before Brooke Johnson hit a triple just out of the reach of the diving Emma Rosonke in right field to give the Blue Demons a 1-0 lead.
