INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore Jena Lawrence tossed four scoreless innings before the Creighton softball fell to Butler, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Butler Softball Field in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Bluejays dropped to 14-23 on the year and 4-14 in BIG EAST play, while Butler improved to 15-14 overall and 11-5 in conference action with their sixth win in their last seven contests.
Creighton put the first dent on the scoreboard in the top half of the fourth inning as sophomore Emma Rosonke collected her league-leading 41st RBI of the season on a groundout.
